Warranty & Servicing
Digital Designs products purchased through DDaudiodirect.com.au have a five (5) year warranty on manufacturer or material defects. We stand behind our workmanship in the event it causes a failed product. We cover defects in materials and workmanship for a period of up to 5 years from the date of purchase. We spare no expense when it comes to durability and performance. QC checks are performed every step of production and all drivers go through three separate full-power tests during assembly. Amplifiers are powered through to thermal protection, cycle back up and then full bench test.
If you have a product that requires service you must contact us on 1300 556 585 to make arrangements. Freight to our service centre is your responsibility however if your issue is deemed to be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty DDaudiodirect.com.au will cover the return freight costs.
Digital Designs Limited Product Warranty
Digital Designs, (hereafter referred as DD) hereby warrants all DD products in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
Length of Warranty
DD Products are covered by warranty for 5 years from date of purchase on parts and labor.
Scope of Warranty
From the date of original purchase and for the respective period, specified above. DD agrees to repair or replace, at our option and sole expense, all DD products, which are defective in material and/or workmanship. This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
Exclusions
This warranty does not apply with respect to the following:
DD manufacturer’s warranty does NOT cover burnt or open circuit voice coils.
Damage caused by accident, fire, flood, and lightning or other acts of God.
Defects or damage caused by abuse, misuse, or negligence.
Damage caused during shipping and handling. These claims are made with the Freight Company
Accessories attached to or used with DD products.
Products that have their serial numbers removed.
Packing materials. i.e. card board boxes, corners, peanuts, and etc.
Items subject to fatigue through normal wear and tear.
Product, which has been altered or repaired by anyone other than DD, or an authorized DD Service Center.
Obtaining Warranty Service
All units must be returned to DDaudiodirect.com.au for repairs.
Call us at 1300 556 585 for an RA number, and write the RA number on the outside of the package being returned. Items will not be accepted without an RA number
Secure the item in its original packaging, which for subwoofers includes both the box and the foam insulating material.
Include a statement with the unit containing the following information:
Customer name, address and phone number.
RA number and a description of the problem.
Name of dealer if applicable.
Proof of Purchase.
You are responsible for all shipping arrangements and shipping charges. DDaudiodirect.com.au suggests you insure the package being returned.
NO CODs WILL BE ACCEPTED
All return shipping charges for DD products that have been serviced under this warranty will be paid by DDaudiodirect.com.au, and we will insure the package on its return.
If product serviced was not covered under warranty then an estimate for the repairs will be given & payment must be made in advance before repair work commences.
Products sent to us unclaimed or unpaid will become the property of DDaudiodirect.com.au after 90 days.
Our warranty policy benefits our customers by assuring them that only persons qualified by DD are authorised to service its products. Our policy enables us to receive defective components so we can research problems as they arise in order to eliminate them in the future. DD takes steps to improve the performance and endurance of its product, which can only be done in house. When the unit is received by DD it is completely serviced, including replacing any necessary components. All components are checked to ensure no other parts have been affected which could create distortions in output or other avoidable problems in the future.
